Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid and current state social work license or credential (appropriate for school settings)
• Prior experience in a school or educational environment, preferably working with diverse student populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with staff and families
• Ability to assess and respond to student needs, including crisis intervention and case management
• Knowledge of IEP process, special education requirements, and community resources
• Compassionate, organized, and dedicated to fostering student growth and well-being

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students facing social, emotional, or behavioral issues
• Act as a resource to teachers and staff, supporting classroom management and student engagement
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor student support plans
• Communicate and collaborate with families and outside agencies to arrange resources and interventions
• Maintain accurate and confidential records, in compliance with district and ethical standards
• Facilitate workshops or classroom presentations on social-emotional learning topics
• Respond to crisis situations and contribute positive leadership within the school community
