Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Rhode Island Social Worker license is required
  • Previous experience in an elementary or school setting is preferred
  • Comfortable maintaining accurate service logs for Medicaid reimbursement
  • Able to confidently manage an elementary age caseload and individual needs
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide social and emotional support to elementary school students, helping them navigate challenges and building resilience
  • Deliver individualized and group interventions tailored to student needs
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for Medicaid and district compliance
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure holistic support for students
  • Participate in virtual interviews via Zoom and engage with ongoing training if provided
  • Complete onboarding requirements, including a national BCI with fingerprinting, prior to start
