Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) credential in school psychology is required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of diverse student needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, families, and community partners
  • Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Adaptable and proactive, ready to step into a temporary role with flexibility regarding start and end dates

Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive student assessments and interpret results for individualized education planning
  • Provide consultation and counseling services to students, staff, and families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention strategies for student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and behavioral management within the school setting

This position offers 20-24 hours per week, scheduled flexibly over 3-5 daysmaking it an excellent fit for those seeking balance within a professional school-based setting. The caseload is especially reasonable, involving evaluation and support for approximately one to two students each month.
