Job Description

This contract position offers an opportunity to work 20 hours per week (.5 FTE) and fill a critical need with immediate impact. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado SSW license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of 504 Plans and the requirements for compliance and case management
  • Solid background in mental health counseling for youth
  • Ability to conduct risk, suicide, and threat assessments effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee 504 Plan case management, including routine evaluations, plan updates, and organizing/leading 504 meetings
  • Deliver mental health counseling to students, supporting both the 504 caseload and at-risk or general education populations
  • Participate in assessments for at-risk behaviorconducting timely risk, suicide, and threat evaluations to ensure student safety
  • Provide expert support during crisis interventions as needed within the school community
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student wellness and promote a supportive school culture
