Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as a School Social Worker supporting students social, emotional, and behavioral growth in an educational setting. Two full-time, onsite positions are available for qualified social work professionals driven by a passion for helping young people thrive. Each position offers a unique opportunity to work with specialized programs or provide long-term support as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field required
- Active Pennsylvania State Social Work License
- Valid PA PDE Educational Specialist certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues
- Experience in a school setting or with emotional support/partial hospitalization programs preferred
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct social-emotional support to students across assigned programs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to create comprehensive support plans
- Provide crisis intervention, short- and long-term counseling, and case management
- Advocate for students needs while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain required documentation and contribute to IEP/504 team meetings
- Serve as an ongoing resource for school communities in both daily support and crisis response
Assignment Details:
- Position 1: Focuses on emotional support and partial hospitalization programs, available immediately through June 2027 (dates subject to change)
- Position 2: Long-term substitute assignment running from October 2026 through January 2027 (dates to be confirmed)
- Both roles are full-time (35 hours/week), onsite
