Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of students as an onsite social work professional in an engaging, contract-based role serving the Coal Center, PA area this summer. This assignment offers the chance to work directly with a small caseload across two locations while providing valuable support to students during a focused, four-week period.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania (PS SSW) license to practice as a school social worker
- Experience supporting students in a K-12 school environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic needs in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver social work services to a caseload of 12 students, traveling between two school locations
- Partner with educational staff and families to assess student needs and create supportive interventions
- Document progress, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and track case notes accurately
- Advocate for student well-being and connect families with available resources
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and provide expertise on behavioral, social, and emotional development
