Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services within an elementary school setting
- Support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Assist in identifying resources both within the school and community
- Maintain clear communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
Required Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work from a State Board-approved program
- Temporary or full School Social Work approval from the Michigan Department of Education (MDE)
- Strong understanding of school-based social work practices
- Able to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
