Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program required
  • Active state licensure/certification to practice as a School Social Worker
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
  • Strong understanding of the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable adapting to diverse school environments and multidisciplinary teams

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct assessments and provide individualized support for students facing academic, social, or behavioral challenges
  • Develop intervention plans and implement strategies to improve student well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other professionals to promote student success
  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions addressing a variety of student needs
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and participate in IEP/504 meetings as needed
  • Contribute to programs that enhance inclusivity, engagement, and resilience throughout the school community
