Make a meaningful difference as a dedicated school social worker with opportunities spanning multiple grade levels. Two rewarding roles are available: one serves students from kindergarten through twelfth grade (K-12), while the other focuses specifically on supporting high school students. These contract positions offer a chance to provide vital services that nurture academic and personal success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Knowledge of best practices in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and student advocacy
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to create individualized plans and deliver effective group and one-on-one counseling
• Previous experience supporting K-12 or high school populations is highly valued

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and coordinate appropriate social, emotional, and behavioral interventions
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a safe and respectful learning environment
• Deliver individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, or personal barriers to learning
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans as needed
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and provide crisis support when necessary
• Document all services and maintain confidentiality in compliance with school policies
