A full-time Social Worker position is available to support elementary students within a school setting in Clarkston, MI. This travel role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students social and emotional well-being while working with a diverse caseload in an elementary school environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop support plans
- Conducting assessments and interventions to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Facilitating crisis intervention and prevention strategies
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of student progress and services
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed Social Worker with relevant state credentials
- Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment and counseling skills tailored to children
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with relevant laws, policies, and resources related to school social work
