Make a meaningful impact as a contract School Social Worker supporting elementary students with emotional support needs in a welcoming educational environment. This is an onsite, full-time opportunity with a caseload focused on Grades K-4. You'll serve as a vital resource for staff, students, and families, helping to ensure every child receives the support and guidance they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a current, valid Social Worker license in Pennsylvania
• Experience in an elementary school setting is highly valued
• Skilled in providing support for students with emotional and behavioral challenges
• Strong communication, collaboration, and assessment abilities
• Deep understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and school-based interventions
• Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and community partners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students in K-4 emotional support programs
• Provide crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and case management
• Support IEP and 504 plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Act as an advocate for students social and emotional well-being
• Facilitate communication between school, home, and community resources
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per district and legal requirements
• Participate in professional development and training sessions as needed
