What were looking for:

• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a school social worker
• Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong skills in assessing student needs, crisis intervention, and case management
• Knowledge of community resources, family engagement, and school-based behavioral supports
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to partner with teachers, parents, and school leaders
• Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to confidentiality and ethics

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
• Develop and implement strategies to promote positive student behavioral and emotional outcomes
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and outside agencies to build supportive intervention plans
• Conduct student assessments and participate in IEP/504 meetings or other multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver workshops or group sessions on relevant social, emotional, or behavioral topics
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
