Key Qualifications:

  • Valid IL LBS1 certification (non-negotiable)
  • Social Worker or Counselor experience in elementary school settings preferred
  • Comfortable working part-time, 2 days per week in-school, plus an option for 2 hours/week homebound instruction
  • Experience with a variety of disabilities and diverse caseloads
  • Ability to interview virtually and onboard quickly

Responsibilities:

  • Support elementary students with IEPs, providing counseling and social work services
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to deliver holistic student support
  • Document sessions and progress in line with school policies and compliance standards
  • Deliver homebound hours as needed
