Key Qualifications:
- Valid IL LBS1 certification (non-negotiable)
- Social Worker or Counselor experience in elementary school settings preferred
- Comfortable working part-time, 2 days per week in-school, plus an option for 2 hours/week homebound instruction
- Experience with a variety of disabilities and diverse caseloads
- Ability to interview virtually and onboard quickly
Responsibilities:
- Support elementary students with IEPs, providing counseling and social work services
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to deliver holistic student support
- Document sessions and progress in line with school policies and compliance standards
- Deliver homebound hours as needed
