Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Michigan School Social Worker license required; candidates with a Limited License (LLMSW) will also be considered
• Strong understanding of social-emotional learning and behavioral interventions
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to school-based social work services
• Experience working collaboratively with educators, families, and community providers
• Empathetic, solution-focused communicator able to engage effectively with diverse student populations
• Comfortable facilitating both individual and group sessions
• Commitment to upholding student confidentiality and ethical standards

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Design and implement individualized intervention plans
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and ongoing support services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to promote positive student outcomes
• Facilitate communication between school, families, and external agencies when additional resources are needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with applicable guidelines
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop strategies and recommendations for student support
