Job Description

This full-time position involves supporting K-12 students, providing essential services to a manageable caseload of 48 students. Beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 5th, 2026, youll make a significant impact on students academic and personal growth.

What Were Looking For:

  • Valid Michigan licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility for certification
  • Previous experience as a school-based Social Worker preferred
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to flexibly manage priorities across multiple grade levels
  • Experience developing and implementing student support plans

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver direct social-emotional support to students across K-12 grades
  • Complete individual and group counseling sessions aligned with IEP/504 plans
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and outside agencies to promote student well-being
  • Conduct assessments and maintain required documentation
