Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for school social work credentialing
• Prior experience in a school or youth services setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, solutions-oriented problem solver
• Knowledge of social-emotional learning and behavioral intervention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to develop intervention plans
• Conduct assessments and maintain detailed, confidential records of student progress
• Support crisis intervention and provide timely responses to urgent student needs
• Serve as an advocate for students, connecting families to community resources as needed
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives that foster positive student outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and assist with IEP/504 plan processes as appropriate
