Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure and credentials as a school social worker
• Prior experience serving K-12 populations, with adaptability to elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, trauma-informed practices, and crisis intervention
• Knowledge of IEP and Section 504 processes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Deliver counseling services one-on-one and in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers and administration to address academic and behavioral concerns
• Connect families to community resources and support networks
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP/504 planning
• Advocate for student needs and foster a safe, inclusive environment
