Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure and credentials as a school social worker
- Prior experience serving K-12 populations, with adaptability to elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, trauma-informed practices, and crisis intervention
- Knowledge of IEP and Section 504 processes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver counseling services one-on-one and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers and administration to address academic and behavioral concerns
- Connect families to community resources and support networks
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP/504 planning
- Advocate for student needs and foster a safe, inclusive environment
