Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a school social worker
• Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably across multiple age groups
• Strong understanding of social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
• Organized and adaptable, with sound judgment in crisis intervention and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and case management services to students in elementary, middle, and high school
• Assess student needs and develop individualized support plans, collaborating with teachers, counselors, and administrators
• Facilitate groups and workshops focused on social skills, coping strategies, and peer relationships
• Serve as a liaison between school, family, and community resources to ensure holistic student support
• Assist with behavioral interventions, attendance monitoring, and restorative practices
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal standards
