Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and valid School Social Worker license through PELSB is required
  • Prior experience supporting students in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and outside agencies
  • Strong organizational skills and compassion for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and interventions for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
  • Develop individualized student plans and collaborate on intervention strategies
  • Deliver crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Liaise with families and connect them to community resources
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate
