Job Description

A full-time Social Worker position is available at an elementary school in Burnsville, MN, offering an opportunity to provide critical social-emotional and behavioral support to students. This W-2 contract role is onsite for the current school year (CSY) and focuses on helping young learners overcome challenges to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct social-emotional and behavioral support services to students both individually and in small groups.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify social, emotional, and environmental factors that affect learning.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans in collaboration with school staff and families.
  • Support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by providing social work services aligned with their specific goals.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in social work.
  • Active Minnesota-issued school social worker license.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
