Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a School Social Worker
- Experience with students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability and cultural sensitivity in a diverse school environment
- Ability to develop and implement individualized strategies for social-emotional and behavioral support
What you'll do:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop intervention plans tailored to diverse learners
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to create positive support networks
- Serve as a resource for crisis prevention and response
- Support students in navigating conflict resolution and improving peer relationships
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights for IEP/504 planning
- Document services and maintain confidentiality in all communications
