Job Description

Support students at all levels by utilizing your social work expertise in dynamic K-12 and high school contract roles. Make a tangible difference by addressing the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of youth, collaborating with school staff, and empowering families in an inclusive educational environment.

Two contract positions are available: one serving a K-12 population and another focused solely on a high school caseload. Each is a rewarding opportunity to foster resilience, promote well-being, and support academic success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid social worker licensure for schools
  • Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
  • Proficiency in crisis intervention, counseling, and case management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to develop individualized plans and advocate for student needs
  • Adaptability to serve diverse student populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, emotional, and social challenges
  • Coordinate and implement interventions for at-risk students in partnership with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Facilitate communication between home, school, and community resources
  • Participate in IEP, 504, and student support meetings, contributing expertise on social-emotional needs
  • Support conflict resolution, social skills development, and positive behavioral interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and local policies
