This contract opportunity near Brohman, MI, seeks an experienced Social Worker to collaborate with educators and families in supporting student growth and well-being. Two unique caseloads are available: one spanning grades K-12, and another focused strictly on high school students. This allows you to tailor your expertise to the age group youre most passionate about.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure as a School Social Worker (or eligibility in Michigan)
• Previous experience in K-12, elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
• Solid understanding of social-emotional learning and support strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to develop and implement intervention plans and crisis response
• Compassionate, culturally responsive, and dedicated to student advocacy

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social, emotional, and behavioral support to students
• Conduct assessments, create service plans, and document progress
• Partner with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to address barriers to learning
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions
• Support and coordinate with families, providing resources and referrals as needed
• Engage in staff meetings, team consultations, and professional development activities
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for student services
