This role is for a full-time social worker serving K-12 students in a Brighton, MI school setting. The position offers a contracted assignment for the current school year, with consistent hours five days per week, totaling 35 hours. As a dedicated social worker, you will provide critical support to students by addressing their social, emotional, and mental health needs within the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support student well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
• Assess student needs and refer to appropriate community resources and services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings addressing student challenges
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality regulations
• Facilitate crisis intervention and promote positive school climate initiatives

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a social worker
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
