School Social Worker | Fairfield County, CT
2026-2027 School Year (Contract)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed School Social Worker for a contracted position in Fairfield County. As a contract professional, you will serve as a vital link between the school, the family, and the community, helping students overcome barriers to their academic success with the support of a dedicated staffing partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Services: Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on social skills and emotional regulation.
IEP/504 Collaboration: Participate in PPT meetings and develop social-emotional goals for students.
Crisis Management: Conduct risk assessments and provide immediate support during school-wide or individual student crises.
Family Advocacy: Assist families in accessing community resources and navigating the educational system.

Requirements:
Certification: Valid Connecticut (071) School Social Worker Endorsement.

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $61.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
