Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Social Worker, with credentials suitable for school settings
- Previous experience in educational, behavioral health, or youth-focused environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Compassionate demeanor and ability to relate to diverse student populations
- Experience conducting evaluations and developing effective support plans
- Proficiency in navigating confidentiality guidelines and educational policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to promote students social, emotional, and academic success
- Engage with small groups of students, addressing specific needs and fostering stronger peer relationships
- Perform and document approximately 45 student evaluations, providing recommendations and strategies for support
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual and group needs
- Serve as a resource for crisis management, mental health awareness, and behavioral support within the school community
- Maintain accurate, timely records and communicate progress to necessary stakeholders
