Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a school social worker
• Prior experience in educational or childrens settings preferred
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Compassion, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to handle confidential information
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage diverse caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges
• Develop intervention strategies to support students academic and personal growth
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administration, and external resources to develop support plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and crisis intervention efforts as needed
• Advocate for students well-being and connect families with community resources and services
• Maintain documentation in accordance with school policies, state laws, and confidentiality requirements
