Support students social and emotional development in an engaging school environment as a dedicated social worker. This contract opportunity allows you to work alongside a collaborative educational team to help students thrive both academically and personally.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid and current licensure in school social work (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience providing support to children and adolescents within a school or similar setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
• Familiarity with crisis intervention and collaborative problem-solving
• Organizational skills for case management, documentation, and reporting

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling to support student social, emotional, and behavioral well-being
• Assess students needs and develop intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, counselors, and families
• Provide resources and referrals to families and students as needed
• Participate in team meetings, provide input for IEPs, and advocate for student success
• Facilitate preventative initiatives and workshops addressing bullying, conflict resolution, and coping skills
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school and state guidelines
