Serving one school, youll collaborate with staff and families to support approximately 40 students, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) credential required
- Prior experience as a school-based social worker or related childrens services strongly preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of diverse disabilities, as well as best practices for supporting students in educational settings
- Ability to work on-site during regular school hours
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable participating in panel-style interviews, with flexibility in scheduling interviews
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support, guidance, and counseling to students
- Conduct assessments and maintain confidential documentation
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans for students requiring additional assistance
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student growth and well-being
- Offer crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals to community resources as needed
- Maintain a flexible and responsive approach, adapting to the unique needs of the caseload
