Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a school social worker

• Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and crisis management
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to documentation and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted intervention plans
• Provide individual and group counseling to support social-emotional well-being
• Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to address barriers to learning
• Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources
• Assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and prevention programs
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
• Contribute to special education processes and multidisciplinary evaluation teams as required
