Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a School Social Worker
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students preferred
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health interventions, and crisis response
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and case management abilities
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504s, and special education processes is a plus
• Compassionate, adaptable, and culturally responsive approach to working with diverse populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the social and emotional well-being of students through individual and group counseling
• Coordinate interventions with teachers, administrators, and families to address barriers to learning
• Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed
• Develop and implement behavior management strategies and social skills programs
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to individualized educational planning
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in alignment with district and legal guidelines
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and agencies when appropriate
