Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SSW license required
- Previous experience working as a Social Worker in a school setting
- Strong understanding of 504 Plan procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective mental health counseling for students
- Confident in crisis response, including suicide and threat assessments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Case management for students with 504 Plans, including organizing and leading meetings, performing evaluations, and ensuring timely updates to plans
- Deliver mental health counseling services for students on your 504 caseload, as well as those at risk or within the general education population
- Provide expert support during suicide/risk and threat assessments, assisting with intervention and follow-up
- Contribute to crisis intervention efforts, collaborating with school teams to support student safety and mental health
- Maintain timely and professional documentation of all services and interventions provided
