Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and credentials appropriate for school-based work
  • Previous experience as a school social worker or in a similar educational setting
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, special education law, and multi-tiered systems of support
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams and families
  • Skilled in both in-person and teletherapy modalities is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social-emotional support to students through individual and group interventions
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and contribute to educational planning
  • Conduct social history evaluations and report on student progress
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and families for coordinated care and advocacy
