You will work with a diverse caseload of K-12 students, partnering with educators and families to provide vital social-emotional support and services that help students thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as a School Social Worker (SSW) in the state of New Mexico
• Previous experience serving school-aged children and adolescents
• Solid understanding of school-based intervention strategies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for students from varied backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling to students ranging from kindergarten through high school
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and track student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and other support staff
• Advocate for students needs and facilitate connections to community resources
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Deliver services onsite, working a consistent 35 hours per week
