This opportunity is for a Licensed Social Worker to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2026-2027 school year in Belen, NM. The role requires an onsite presence with a commitment of 35 hours per week, providing critical social work services that support student well-being and academic success.
Responsibilities include assessing student needs, developing intervention plans, collaborating with educators and families, and connecting students to community resources. This position plays a vital role in creating a supportive school environment that fosters social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Social Worker (SSW) credential in New Mexico
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and document case management activities
