Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting
• Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized plans for student support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage multiple caseloads and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
• Assess student needs and develop appropriate support plans
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to address academic, behavioral, or social issues
• Facilitate small group or individual support sessions to build coping, problem-solving, and social skills
• Conduct ongoing assessments and document progress for each student served
• Connect families with community resources and support services as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) as required
