Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their emotional, social, and behavioral well-being at schools serving elementary, middle, and high school populations. We are seeking compassionate, adaptable school social work professionals for two rewarding contract roles: one position serves students across K-12, while the other focuses specifically on a high school caseload.
In these dynamic environments, youll use your skills to advocate for students, collaborate closely with educators and families, and help ensure every child feels supported and empowered to succeed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a School Social Worker
- Previous experience working in an educational or youth-centered setting preferred
- Knowledge of social/emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs across K-12 populations (or high school, for the dedicated high school role)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt strategies to support diverse backgrounds and circumstances
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and support for students
- Develop and implement intervention plans to address students' needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster a positive learning environment
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student plans
- Support initiatives for social-emotional learning and positive behavior interventions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulations
