Key Qualifications:

  • Current School Social Worker credentialing in Illinois
  • IDFPR license required (PEL not required)
  • Experience supporting student well-being in K-12 environments preferred
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Exceptional communication, assessment, and advocacy skills
  • Adaptable to diverse student populations and varying caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide school-based social work services to students
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and track progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Serve as a resource for families, offering guidance on available community services
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant state and district guidelines
