Key Qualifications:
- Current School Social Worker credentialing in Illinois
- IDFPR license required (PEL not required)
- Experience supporting student well-being in K-12 environments preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Exceptional communication, assessment, and advocacy skills
- Adaptable to diverse student populations and varying caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based social work services to students
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and track progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to foster a supportive learning environment
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed
- Serve as a resource for families, offering guidance on available community services
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant state and district guidelines
