This opportunity invites a skilled School Social Worker to support high school students in Aurora, CO, through an onsite contract position. The role involves managing a high school caseload, providing essential social work services that promote student well-being and success.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, collaborating with educators and families, and connecting students to community resources. The position requires a compassionate professional committed to fostering a supportive school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a valid DORA School Social Worker (SSW) license
- Colorado Department of Education-issued credential as a Special Service Provider with an endorsement in school social work
- Experience working with high school students in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff and families
Location:
- Aurora, Colorado
- Onsite role within a school environment
- 35 to 40 hours per week, allowing for a consistent and manageable schedule
