Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students and families in a K-5 educational setting as a School Social Worker. This rewarding onsite contract role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a dedicated educational team, focusing on completing vital assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations. Youll play a crucial part in the special education process by attending IEP meetings in person, communicating assessment results to families, and collaborating with IEP teams to ensure compliance and positive student outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Social Worker license for Colorado
  • Possess the required SSP Certificate
  • Previous experience in a school-based social work setting preferred
  • Strong skills in completing assessments and evaluations for elementary-age children
  • Excellent communication skills for working with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and manage caseload responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations for K-5 students
  • Present assessment findings to parents during in-person IEP meetings
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and the IEP team to complete compliance documentation and support student success
  • Provide guidance and support services to students and families as part of the educational plan
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation according to school and state guidelines

Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $66.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
