Job Description

Make a lasting difference in the lives of students as a contract school social worker for the academic year. Two openings are available, with assignments at both a K-8 school and within a preschool team, offering a chance to foster growth and provide essential student and team support. This onsite role lets you actively engage with young learners, educators, and the IEP team, working collaboratively to help students reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Psychologist License and CDE Certification required
• Direct social work experience in educational settings, ideally with K-8 or preschool populations
• Proficiency in assessment, evaluation, and creation of actionable student support plans
• Familiarity with special education protocols and compliance
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite exclusively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted interventions and collaborate with IEP teams to establish and monitor student goals
• Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations as necessary for students
• Deliver ongoing support to educators, special education staff, and families
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and district regulations
• Engage proactively with students to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Help create a nurturing, supportive school environment where every learner feels valued
