Job Description

This full-time, onsite school-based social work role offers assignments across two campuses with age groups ranging from Early Childhood Education to high school. Youll play a key role in empowering students to overcome barriers, achieve academically, and thrive emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Valid Colorado Special Service Provider license for School Social Worker (birth through 21)
  • Minimum of three years experience in a school setting
  • Proficiency providing support to a diverse student population
  • Successful completion of district-required background checks and fingerprinting

Major Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mental health services to students, fostering positive academic and emotional outcomes
  • Assess, counsel, and support students with social, behavioral, or psychological needs
  • Refer students and families to external resources for economic, emotional, or physical concerns
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administration, and parents to develop holistic plans for student success
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining comprehensive case files and reports
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans and conduct counseling sessions or workshops
  • Support remediation efforts and ensure students receive timely, effective interventions
