This full-time, onsite school-based social work role offers assignments across two campuses with age groups ranging from Early Childhood Education to high school. Youll play a key role in empowering students to overcome barriers, achieve academically, and thrive emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Valid Colorado Special Service Provider license for School Social Worker (birth through 21)
- Minimum of three years experience in a school setting
- Proficiency providing support to a diverse student population
- Successful completion of district-required background checks and fingerprinting
Major Responsibilities:
- Deliver mental health services to students, fostering positive academic and emotional outcomes
- Assess, counsel, and support students with social, behavioral, or psychological needs
- Refer students and families to external resources for economic, emotional, or physical concerns
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administration, and parents to develop holistic plans for student success
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining comprehensive case files and reports
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans and conduct counseling sessions or workshops
- Support remediation efforts and ensure students receive timely, effective interventions
