Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Social Worker license in Colorado
  • School Social Work Specialist (SSP) Certificate required
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Prior experience within educational settings preferred

What You'll Do:

  • Complete comprehensive assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations for elementary-aged students
  • Attend IEP meetings in person, presenting assessment results to families and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address student needs
  • Work alongside educational staff and parents to ensure all compliance and documentation requirements are met
  • Deliver social-emotional support and resources tailored to K-5 students, promoting their well-being and success in school
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment within the school community
