Make a meaningful difference as a School Social Worker in a vibrant educational setting near Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time, onsite contract position spans from as soon as possible through March, serving students district-wide. Youll function as an essential support to students, families, and faculty, helping to build a more inclusive and responsive school environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) License required
• Must hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) with social work endorsement
• Relevant experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support and interventions to students across the district
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address academic and behavioral needs
• Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and community resources
• Facilitate group or individual counseling sessions as needed
• Document progress and maintain confidential records in accordance with district and state policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
