Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed School Social Worker to support K-5 students in Arlington Heights, IL for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite contract role involves delivering comprehensive social work services in a school setting, providing critical support to young learners and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work services to a caseload of students from kindergarten through 5th grade.
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources.
  • Address social, emotional, behavioral, and familial challenges that impact student success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to fostering a supportive school environment.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement.
  • Experience working effectively with children in an educational or clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while providing individualized support.
  • Commitment to professional ethics and continuous development.

Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois onsite position requiring regular attendance during school hours.
