Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Social Worker in Minnesota
• Background working with students in elementary, middle, and high school environments

• Experience implementing evidence-based social and emotional interventions
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to navigate crisis intervention and provide counseling or referrals as needed

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement individualized support plans
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and recommend targeted interventions
• Facilitate connections between families and community resources for additional support
• Deliver crisis intervention and manage conflicts or urgent situations sensitively and efficiently
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of school-wide positive behavioral strategies
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality in all student interactions
