This contract opportunity is seeking two full-time social workers to provide essential support within school settings in Ypsilanti, MI. The roles are onsite, serving one middle school and one high school caseload respectively, starting immediately through June 5, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to develop intervention plans.
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support to promote student well-being.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work or an MDE School Social Worker Credential.
- Experience working within school environments preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and work collaboratively with staff and families.
- Relevant licensure and certifications must be current and included in applications.
