Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as an onsite SLP in a supportive school environment near Andover, ME. This part-time contract position offers the chance to work closely with a small caseload, providing direct and indirect services to students who benefit greatly from your expertise and compassion.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid SLP license in the state of Maine
- Experience in school-based settings or strong interest in supporting school-aged children
- Ability to provide both direct and consultative services to students and educational teams
- Collaborative communication style to work effectively with staff, families, and students
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and service planning efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to a targeted group of 4 students, up to 10 hours per week
- Engage in both direct therapy and indirect support, contributing to student growth and participation
- Consult with teachers and families to ensure seamless integration of communication goals into the learning environment
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation for each student
- Contribute insights and recommendations at team meetings to help guide students' educational planning
