Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Current or eligible licensure as a school social worker in Alaska
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in educational or community settings

• Demonstrated ability to advocate for students and connect families to community resources

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop intervention plans
• Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention for students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support academic and behavioral success
• Facilitate group sessions on social skills, coping strategies, and conflict resolution
• Act as a liaison between the school, families, and outside agencies to coordinate services
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality protocols
