Provide professional social work services within a school setting, supporting K-12 students and their families to promote social, emotional, and academic success. This contract position is onsite in Albuquerque, NM, offering an opportunity to impact students' lives directly while collaborating with educators and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well-being.
- Connect students and families with community resources and services.
- Maintain thorough and confidential case documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Licensed School Social Worker (SSW) credential in New Mexico is required.
- Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of social work best practices within schools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of students with diverse needs.
Location & Schedule:
- Position based onsite in Albuquerque, NM.
- Contract available immediately through the end of the school year.
- 35 hours per week.
