Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license or certification as required by state standards
- Experience collaborating with speech-language pathologists and educators preferred
- Solid understanding of articulation, language, social communication, and fluency disorders in pediatric populations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and support students
- Meticulous with documentation and adaptable in school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as directed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized goals in accordance with IEPs
- Prepare and organize session activities and therapy materials
- Monitor progress, document performance, and relay updates to the supervising SLP
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for diverse student populations
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to reinforce generalization of skills
